The Lion King

The Lion King (TLK) franchise, simply put, is really neat. It was one of the first movies I watched as a kid, and I watched it plenty of times. My enjoyment for TLK came back in full swing upon the release of Mufasa. I'm not sure why I fixtaed on it so much, but I guess that goes for a lot of my interests. I ended up finding a rare amd brand new with tags Simba toy at the op shop for like $2.00. I rewatched all TLK movies. I tried to watch The Lion Guard, but I could not get into it.
My fav is the original movie, followed by Mufasa, and then The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. It's a shame the animation in the 2nd film was lower budget. I think I would enjoy it more now if it had the same budget as the original. I really love the different songs in all of the movies, but you can't go past the original film.
When I was little, my dad brought us a Sega and we had The Lion King game on it. The graphics were vibrant and gorgeous, and the songs were like a 16-bit version of official music from the movie. I rarely made it past level 2, because the game was so damn hard, but I replayed the hell out of level 1 again and again. It just felt so cool to be Simba, running around the pride lands.
I have since downloaded the game on my hacked 2DS. It's awesome because I am able to create a save point at any time I want, so I've been able to beat the game. Without this, even now, I would barely be able to make it past level 2. I know a lot of other people have the same issue. Why did they make kids video games SO hard back then?!
Here's a full playthrough of TLK game.
